	You're quite welcome. Unfortunately, it dead-ended a bit. Two surviving children for whom I don't see obvious marriages. (I wonder whether they might have adopted a stepfather's surname, now that I think ... except I can't find a remarriage for their mother.) As I mentioned in the PM, though, the name in the GR member's tree that I found on a search then led me to the mother's birth record, so there's one possible lead. A delicate task. Don't hesitate to ask if anything else comes up! Edit - with a little further digging (there's always incentive when one gets as very nice a reply as I did from MG), I've found contact info for people very closely connected to the first wife, and hope that will work out.
