I think you are getting a little confused. Census records were people completed every 10 years & included people living in the household (we can view them after 100 years has passed so the 1921 census won't be viewable until 2012)

You've got them confused with birth marriage and death indexes that sometimes people post on here eg who has married who, when someone died or was born. You can find them on sites such as Freebmd. People use the indexes to order certificates which will confirm whether they are your relative or not. I will see if I can find a site which will explain things simply for you if you are confused.

Margaret, not sure what you mean by "household". All the births are recorded anf there are no census reports available after 1911.
