Cannot find any death details for Stephen Nave christened at Mundesley in 1761 or Stephen Nave christened at Oulton in 1768. In fact despite my searching I can find no death for anyone named Stephen Nave in the Uk.

Yes Janey,
I agree. The Neave name seems to occur in Norfolk frequently, particularly at place called Smallburgh. I am visiting the Uk from Australia next year and will travel to Oulton to have a walk through the cemetery in the local church and check out the headstones.
thanks for you response.

In the 1841 census, there is a handful of Neave-s in Surrey, none born in county, born c1781-c1837.

The heaviest concentration of Neave-s in 1841 seems to be in Norfolk, so I'd say that Flick's long shot is well worth pursuing. ;)

Trying to find info. as to where my GGG grandfather Stephen Neave was born. He died in 1836 in England with his funeral being conducted at St.George the Martyr Church in Southwalk, London. At the time of his death he was 68 so he would have been born about 1768.
