Find Ancestors

Hi All,
I am trying to find the parents of Kathleen M Thornber who married Gilbert James Tyndall Macdonald in Nelson, Lancs in 1937.
I would also like to find out if they had any children and where and when Kathleen died.
Did she divorce Gilbert? Gilbert married again in 1953 in Sutherland, Scotland.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

What does the M stand for as there are 2 births for a Kathleen with the middle initial M with one showing as Mary

To find any possible death, it is necessary to know - at least - the year of birth for Kathleen.

Her age at the time of her marriage will be on her marriage cert

Gilbert's second marriage cert should say whether he was widowed or divorced

Thanks to all for the quick response and info.
Sadly I do not know what the M stands for in middle name as all I have is the BMD record of the marriage to Gilbert Macdonald whcih only gives Kathleen M Thornber.
The birth date also is a mystery as there are three on the BMD, one in 1901, one in 1904 and one in 1910. Gilbert the husband was born in 1901 so it could feasibly be any of these 3 as both Burnley and Blackburn districts are not so far apart (although I would lean toward Burnley as the marriage was in Nelson)
The marriage certificate of Gilbert's second marriage in 1953 is not available on Scotland's people as they will only give info on marriages before 1943.
We are really spoilt in Scotland with records compared to England and Wales as our birth certs give details of parents, marriage certs give both sets of parents and death certs give parents and sometimes even marriage date of parents.
I just hoped that someone would recognise the names and have the info to hand, a long shot I know, so now I will just have to try and buy some of the relevant certs and see what comes up.
