I am trying to find out anything about Alfred May c1875 who was born at Elstead in surrey. don't know anything about his first wife, name unknown except that they had 2 boys and only know his second wife was named elizabeth marshall they had 2 boys and i think a girl

thanks to both of you. looks like his first wife was the sister of his elder sisters husband so there are 2 branches of lampard in the family. Is the any trace of a girl born after jack may and also death dates for alfred and elizabeth many thanks

Thanks again that seems to tally. just wondered if the girl child was born to Alice emily lampard after Albert and not to eilzabeth marshall I know that the dad couldn't cope so someone else brought her up -poss. an aunt

Sounds more like it was from his first marriage if the dad couldnt cope with a girl after his wife died,

Theres quite a few May females born Farham between 1904 and 1909. could be any of them , or none!! would be expensive buying certs on the off chance

As Albert was born in 1907 and Alice died 1909 it must have been 1908 or maybe in childbirth 1909?
