Thanks for your work Tony. I suspect the confusion between Altham and Althem was in the emigration papers. The Althams came largely from Lancashire and they are a big extended family so I have lots of work to do. The father, William probably had several siblings and I think his wife Ruth was a 2nd marriage - the 1st being to Eleanor Bennett. |

Hi Kath .....there's a burial for an 'Ellen Verdun' 14.5.1918 at 'Springfield Cemetery' Melbourne. It is the only 'Verdun' I found. Could it be your 'Annie'? |
