Narmer it is much easier to say Hannah than Susannah..............

Narmer

Narmer Report 12 Dec 2010 09:46

As one of his sons is named James that is highly possible, a lot of the Belbin branches tended to name one or two of their children after themselves, so you may have found it but, the Susannah I am not sure of.

His son James's son also named James named one of his daughters Susanne, so if these names are correct it would mean it took three generations for that name to resurface, but thank you once again for your help, hope you have a lovely Xmas

Thank you again
I have no record of a brother as yet, but the Bellbins all seem to have oversized families.

Hopefully there is marriage somewhere. Could have been a non-conformist. May have to check the Fleet records

Hi all
On an earlier request for help I made the mistake of putting in details of a person still living, my mistake, I was not thinking and can only apologise to you all for that mistake. Have since been in contact with the family in question and have solved that problem. Should have done that in the first place.

My search this time should be acceptable.
I am looking for the marriage of Thomas Bellbin to Hannah surname unknown, both born in St Saviour, Southwark, London.
Thomas was born about 1735 and Hannah about 1739.
Marriage possibly before 1767.
As a further help, their children were James Cohen, Joseph Simms, Ann Penny, Rebeccah Sims and William Samuel Gallant.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as usual.

All the best for your Xmas.
