anyone else having trouble viewing the 1901 census? Ive had trouble with it for a couple of days now- just white blank screen when I want to view it ? Can read the others no prblems :(

Just checked it, works fine for me.
I use Ancestry.

I could and sometimes do actually use the Ancestry site at my local library foc but at home I can only use GR's options. I've only had your problem once on the census side since I started with GR and I cant remember which year it was, however I have had a few occassions when I've not been able to get a particular page on Marriages and Deaths. I moved the blank page down and found some comment or other on the top left of the black page which I take as a temporary GR site problem. Mind you, I'm pretty new at this game anyway.

I took my computor to my supplier recently and.....quick as a flash the young lady said "do you use Mozilla Firefox as your search engine.

Being a bit thick, I told her mine was E.

I put Genes Reunited and showed her what I meant and she promptly said "Close the programme and use Mozilla Firefox."

I tried it and dont seem to have any problems viewing the 1901 census anymore.

there have been several problems with the GR site in the last couple of days.



but I don't know about the census problem ............. I use ancestry for all my record searching
