Can anyone help me, I am trying to trace Amy Joyce, Born 1910 either in Birmingham or Nuneaton, married 1930, to Percy Turner a policeman they lived in 15,Filton Street Nuneaton. any information will be welcomed.

You know when she was born, married and where they were living do you know what happened to Percy then? or where and when he was born?

No and no one else in my family does it's he who is my blood relative but have tried looking for him ..no luck so giving Amy a go.

It wasn't Percy L Turner was it? He married in 1930 but to a May Joyce in Birmingham.

If he is your blood relative what relation to you is he?

Hello, Percy was my great uncle , Percy Leonard Turner full name.Have no trace of either after 1930 in Nuneaton...We are trying to find out if they had any family Percy is the missing link in family tree. He had 5 Brothers all have been traced..

Have you got the marriage certificate Yvonne? I wondered where you got her age from.

Did his brothers include William, Sidney Charles and Reginald Arthur.
If so, is this his birth?

If this is the right family, and you search on here for a Percy born 1903, you will see a lady named Gay and she has the brothers in her tree. If you contact her she may be able to help.

I can’t find a likely death for him, or any definite children I’m afraid. Could he have emigrated do you think? Have you managed to trace any of the descendants of the other brothers who might have an idea what happened to him?

He may have emigrated. it is possible.

Hi Yvonne

If you go to the top left of the page you can put in first and second name, then search. It will tell you that there are hundreds, so instead of clicking on 'View tree matches' click on 'Amend search' underneath. Then you can put in a birth year and +/- 1 etc. In this case though you only need to put in 1903 and I believe that Gay is on the second page.

Shout up if you need help. We all have to start somewhere :)
