Hello, i have a Samuel Stephen Balcombe born 1845 ish Ticehurst.The son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Balcombe.

On Free Bmd there is this death,

Deaths Jun 1916 (>99%)
Balcombe Samuel S 70 Poplar 1c 500

Which i think may be him,the year of birth is okay,I cannot find him in 1911 can anyone find him please?

There are different variations of the surname and maybe Samuel and Steven could be changed around?

I can't see him post 1861 - Did he marry?

Sorry K, i dont know if he married i have not got to that yet, i saw the death on Free bmd and thought maybe it was him?

Maybe he married London area?

I can't see him for certain after 1861 either. There is a Stephen (born Brighton) and in 1901 and 1911 says he was born in Rottingdean.

My feeling is that is not him.
