Info is as you see it, except Eliza is a widow not wife! There is a crossed-out entry by her name saying married 49 years with 1 living child.
I have no idea where Commercial Road is though I suspect there might be several!

It was first thought that Hannah came from ireland but since been established that this was in fact an error. Awaiting copy of marriage Cert but do not expect father to be named. We know all of Hannah children that were born during her marriage to Frederick and the rest of their family history. Even that her husband re-married and had two further boys. It is just Hannah's previous history that is a mystery. As i have previously said this is for Hannah's last Daughter Joan ager 87 yrs who has just lost her close sister at the grsnd age of 95 yrs.

where you seem to think that Hannah was born in Ireland. Why did you think that?

Does Hannah give her father's name and occupation on her marriage cert?

As I did say we know that Hannah married Frederick W Hills in malling Kent in 1913. By the information that I have we think that this is the Hannah we are looking for on the 1911 census. It was only by chance that we noticed that also listed was an Eliza White. Unfortunately Hannah's daughter, who is now 87 yrs old never knew Hannah's mothers name.

Puting this for info. However, are you saying you don't even know if it's your Hannah?

Might help to tell us who Hannah married (if anyone!) and take it from there.

eventually managed to track a Hannah White to the area that we thought she was living in when 18 yrs - the 1911 census showed that Hannah was living in Maidstone with an Eliza White age 66. It is believed that Eliza never married. Hannah married Frederick W Hills in 1913. Hannah was the grandmother of my friend (who I am trying to help) Unfortunately when my friends mother was born Hannah died in 1923. There was little contact with the Father and as is normal memories and dates seem to fail with the course of time.

for that time her birth may not have been registered. You need to give all the info you have on her ie If she married did she name a father. have you found her on later census etc

Tell us how you got back to Eliza.
Through her parents?
Siblings?
A marriage?
How is she connected to you ?

Hi sorry for not getting back sooner. This is a difficult search due to not having much information and it is only with all your help that we have got this far so thank you to all of you. Hardly anything is known about Eliza so anything that anybody can find is much appreciated

Have you any background info ... there are a lot of Eliza White's between those dates.
