Member Since: October 2010 Posts: 9 Send Message	Hi Flick I have a copy of George's birth cert......and it only gives the date of birth and Registra's District of Newtownards, I have a copy of his marriage certificate that gives his fathers name as Hugh. Mike.

	You need to obtain George's birth cert........you can't look for antecedents unless you are 100% sure of the names of his parents When you find out their names, you can look for their marriage, then search for them on the 1911 and 1901 Irish censuses, which are FREE on line.

Member Since: October 2010 Posts: 9 Send Message	Can anyone help me with any info on tracing George Irvine and family. George was born in 1921 and the family lived in Newtownards County NI Down at the time of his birth, He had five brothers of which were named Thomas, David, Sammy, Jimmy , and Hugh he also had three sisters Bella,Mary and Beth, I belive fathers name was Hugh and Mothers name Elizabeth. Any help at all would be good I have a tree on GR and have traced my mothers side back away but cannot seem to get far on my fathers side. Many thanks Mike
