Hello am trying the find any info onmy husbands Grandfather all I have to go on at the mo is that he served in the First World War and his Regt was The London Rifles and later in life he also was a Door Commisioner at The Dorchester Hotel in London sorry to be so sketchy because havent got much to go on yet

There is a very good tree on Ancestry with photos, Henry and Enrico were 2 different sons , Anna in the probate above was their mother and Olivo the father

If you could just give us a first name or about year of birth that would give us more to go on.

There are an awful lot of people with this surname on the records.

we can't look up Grandad Gigli. You say you know he was in the Lndon Rifles, do you know his number? Did he get a pension or was he killed in action. It all makes a difference to our searches for you.

Hello Mel I can appreciate what you are saying with so many people with the name Gigli I have since found out that His name was Henry Gigli and was in The Queens Westminster Regt am not clear yet wether he had a pension I assume he did no he wasnt killed in action because later on in his life he became a Door Commisioner at the Dorchester Hotel in London
