Where are they in 1861!!

Is this his death John William Purcheon in bramley 1915,if so i can't find him in 1911.

Seems on the face of it he may have been illegitimate. As his mum was still a Purchon he would be entitled to be that surname. She doesn't appear to have registered his birth though.
