The marriage cert would confirm Laura's father and the marriage of Anne Price and Griffith Griffiths would help confirm that Anne Evans is the right person wife of Griffith

I am getting very confused! Does this mean that Laura Evans could have been Ann Price`s mother?

Agree with Tempest that this term used to be used for a step daughter. Interesting that the most likely marriage for John and Laura below gives her maiden name as Evans, but hopefully Anne's marriage cert would confirm this

we looked at this census but Anne Price is 8 years old,a scholar, but listed as daughter in law to John and Laurs Evans. Did daughter in law have a different meaning then to what is does now?? Please help?

1911 Census states, 19 Union Street, Connahs Quay, Griffith Griffiths born in 1847, Portmadog,Caernavon,married to Anne or Ann from Beddgelert.They had 7 children,3 died therefore 4 surviving.
On census there are William Griffiths age 26
Evan Pierce Griffiths age 19
John Morgan Griffiths age 17.
Mary had left home.

Griffith and Ann married for 37yrs in 1911.
CANNOT FIND ANY RECORDS BEFORE 1911 ALSO ? ANNE`S MAIDEN NAME.
