Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 71 Send Message	Hi Marieceleste, Sorry to take so long to get back but I've just looked at the census and I agree it looks like 37 years not 57 years which will be about right. I'm helping my husband this afternoon with his tree and he's not as organised as I am with documents, so everything takes twice as long. GRRRRRR. Thanks again for everyones time and patience.

Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18 042 Send Message	Jeb - where did you get his birth year from? It's 1824 according to the 1881. Edit: Having looked at the original it looks as though his age may have been 37. When it's been ticked through it looks like 57, hence the wrong birth year.

	As you already had the census info for other years, there was no need to guess about where the children were born..........the info is recorded clearly.

Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 71 Send Message	I'm trying to find Charles Boynton on the 1881 census. I can find him on the 1851, 1861 ,1871 and 1891 censuses but not 1881.The name was sometimes spelt Bointon. He was born 1841 in West Tanfield and was married to Grace.Any help would be appreciated.
