i have every piece of family history for all other members of Richards family...but i do not know where richard vanished to....i was told that there was some family dispute and he took off,so i can rule out an early death,

could be, there is also two others,
his parents were samuel and elizabeth abbott,his father a quarry man,and later a master butcher...samuel was born 1857 in durham, and elizabeth was born abt 1854 yorkshire, richard appears on the 1891 census with the family with name of Dick....they are living in darlington, durham.....

George, Clara, Ida and another Flint whose name I can't make out first came to Canada in 1907, landing at Montreal, Quebec 12 Sep. 1907 aboard the "Lake Manitoba" from Liverpool. They were heading to Toronto, Ontario.

Can you give us the info youhave on him, such as parents, siblings, wife and occupation?

there are, i think three births for a richard abbot on ancestry for 1882,i am not sure which one he is,he didnt have a middle name,thanks for looking hun :)

The 1920 census says that both John and Ida were born in England. John emigrated 1905 and Ida 1913.
Next door to them are George and Clara Flint aged 53 and 51 respectively. They emigrated 1913.
