Pls Help Birth Record doesn't seem to exist :-(

	Presumably, the father's name came from Arthur's marriage cert......what was John's occupation? Or was he deceased?

	Quite likely his birth wasn't registered....no penalties until 1875 for not doing so. Could you delete the unnecessary crudity..................please.

Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 6 Send Message	Hello, My Gt, Gt Grandfather Arthur Percival was born around Aug 1868 in Salford Manchester, I know his father was called John Percival (not a clue what year or when he was born) I cannot for the life of me find a birth record for Arthur - i keep coming back to Arthur John Percival who also lived in Salford, Barton upon Irwell. Arthur P also is missing from 1871 and 1881 census' but is on the 1891, 1901 and 1911 ones in the rights places, seriously getting on my nerves now! Pls help Thanks Emma
