Thankyou Cathy , The ernest there is the son of Elizabeth .

The trouble with this is Elixabeth also had an Aunt called Mary Emma Bumby who married a Wilkinson and an aunt called Elizabeth Bumby and they were all very much the same age .
Also the calling herself Wilson and then Bumby is very misleading.

I do think she will have set up house with her brother Fred in 1911 , but were they using the name Wilson or Bumby .

Thankyou so very much for your patience and help .

Hello ,

Thankyou all so much for your help ,

Elizabeth Mary wa an unmarried mother with 2 sons Ernest born 1889 Scarboro and Albert ,born 1895, her parents were Thomas and Hannah Wilson . She never married.
They lived in Brompton by Sawden until 1901 when they are living in Brook St Scarboro' . Elizabeth is on this census named Emma, [ a family pet name for her,]Wilson ]

I got the address of 106 Marton Rd from a letter written to my grandfather in 1912 . Also the address is on Alberts enlistment records 1915 .
.
On electrol roles of the 1930s Elizabeth is living Brook St Scarborough with her brother Fred .Bumby , calling herself Mary Emma Bumby .Birth and death certificate give her name as Elizabeth Mary.Bumby
On the 1912 letter she calls her self Elizabeth Bumby

O n the 1911 census Albert Bumby is living at Brook St Scarborough with his grandfather Thomas Wilson . and is listed as Albert Burnsby There is no Emma /Elizabeth Bumby /Wilson listed,

Elizabet lived in later years with her brother Fred Bumby born 1867 Brompton .

Elizabeth and Fred were named as Bumby 1871 census and , Wilson 1881/91/1901 census . But in 1912 both revertred to the name Bumby .

Thank you al so very much for your kindness and patience with me on this .
Thankyou again Lynda
