Family I am looking for is Henry Cripps who d1872 (apparently) he married Mary Evans b1837 who also it seems d1874.

Henry and Mary both lived Battersea. Can't make out witnesses names, but one was the parish clerk.

I see on the census for 1871 you have Mary's father James living with them, but no whereabouts for her Mother Sophia nee Stainer, b Somerset 1818
Would imagine she had died then?

Yes Linda, on 1871 James senior (1818) is listed as widower on the original. James junior (1847) has occupation of woodchopper.

Thank you Barry, is there anyway you can find when Sophia Evans nee Stainer died please. As she couldn't be found after the 1861 census. It said James was a widower (posting from another kind helper)
