hi ive got all these names born in foxhill guisborough johanna 1870 james 1866 charlotta 1865 william 1860 ellen 1859 ann 1858 george 1855 mary 1852 can anyone tell me wher they go in my tree these are all fosters |

just seen your names joseph the fosters ive got dont have a r in foster i wonder if my info is right im a bit mixed up now all i know is the harold is my grandad the james my great grandad and robert my great great grandad |

don't worry about the different spelling of Foster - it does seem to be the correct family - there are often variations in the spelling of names |

i definately know the james foster who was married to mary spence is right with dates she was from north shields so that means robert was his dad that is definate |

i havent got any certs ill try and get some sorted out and get back to i feel as im getting yoy to look for things that arnt there |

work back from what you know Alexandre, the most recent first so if you are sure James is 'yours' getting his marriage cert will give you father's name and occupation and that will help when looking at the census :) |
