This marriage was in Darwen so I am pretty sure it's her. She was Georgianna so it may have been written roughly.

Yes this could be her. She would be on the 1901 census then as Harwood.

About Georgina - the marriage would have had to be 1891-1901. This is the best I have come up with, wild guess at a mistake for her name, but very unlikely I feel:

I can't see a marriage for a John W. West to a Lily.

The census with Georgina Harwood is correct but the other John Wests aren't as he was born in Plumstead Norfolk. I can't find any marriages for him after 1911. I have been told that he may have married someone called Lily but I don't know the surname and I can't find the marriage or any children.
I have checked the above and have not found any other clues.
Georgina/Georgianna Wright married James West 1881 in Norfolk but is called Harwood on this census but I can't find a marriage for her to Mr Harwood. does anyone have any suggestions to where I could find out these marriages please

Thank you. He was born in Norfolk and lived in Wiltshire at some stage but lived in Darwen.
As he may have had a few wives I'll check through the names. As you have noticed there are so many Wests in both Norfolk and Darwen and they all ahd simlar first names.

If he stayed in Norfolk, a John W West married an Ivy Johnson in 1921, Registration District: Erpingham but so many John W Wests that without knowing a year it is hard to trace

Please could someone look up on the 1911 census for John William West born c1866 living in Darwen lancs. His wife surname Ainsworth died in 1910 and I think he remarried. I would like to know if they had any children and who he remarried.
