I am sorry i missed your post's,
William Pratt Smithson States that he is a Soldier SWhen He married Bessie.
His Residence at the time of Marriage is Down as fort Borstal and that is Near Rochester.

Have another read of the posts that Glitter Baby and I posted....it has to be him...I'm sure GB found him for you

Check the date on his marriage to Bessie..it could be that the forces got it wrong ....or...how many men know the date of their marriage!!
