Tom, John, Leonard on free bmd's birth registered Linney. Millicent 1898 as ELLA. Then George, Harry, Annie, Joseph, Samuel all have Ella as middle name but surname Linney. Nellie as Ellen Ella Sep 1910. (Also free bmd's showing an Albert Ella born and died Sep 1902).
Free bmd's show George Ella ? married Harriett Allcock Dec 1884 Nottm and death Harriett Ella age 29 Nottm in Sep 1891. George in W. Yorks 1891 census shown as married, but quick look can't find Harriett. Possible birth to them George Edmund Ella 1884 and death Edmund Dec 1884 Nottingham
1901 census shows long gap between John Linney b1891 and Leonard 1897 but there are births/deaths to fit on free bmd Jane 1893/3, Frank 1894/6 and Frank Bernard 1896/6.
This one does look as though it will be fun to sort. Good hunting

Do you think Elizabeth could have moved in with a George Ella? I think her husband's name was William. George Ella is on the 1891 and 1901 censuses, so can't really be William, as he was on the 1891 census as well.

See what name they married/died under?
They are living at about the same address, so do not know at all what they are up to.
Sorry.
