Hi C,

Thank you so much. I done some googling and found this -

You searched for Francis Beevis for the year range 1754-1820.

There is 1 marriage that matches your search criteria.

Year Day/Month Name Spouse Parish District Note

1817 27 January BEAVUS Francis Ann Osmore Boxley Hollingbourne

I'm sure this is them.

Hello Sandra,

The Medway City Ark site is fantastic but, unfortunately, it doesn't cover Maidstone. It is mainly concerned with towns around the Medway River...Rochester, Chatham, Gilingham etc...

However, If you google, you will some helpful sites re Maidstone records including the Kent online parish clerk site.

Also try woodchurchancestry.co.uk as there is a marriage on there for a Francis Beevis in 1841......much more fun for you to find it yourself though...... :))

Have fun. Regards. Cx

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you.

I am aware that Medway is Kent..............hence my posting of the website.

Have you checked it out?

Does the 1841 census indicate that they were both born in Kent?

Sandra

Sandra Report 28 Apr 2011 21:24

Hi Flick,

Thank you for this, Medway is in Kent but I think Francis would be in Maidstone, Kent. I better change the title to Maidstone.

Medway isn't far from Maidstone.

I'm not familiar with Kent, so this may be for the wrong part of the county...........

Can someone please find any details on Francis Beevis born c1795 in Kent, he married a lady called Ann Elizabeth (surname unknown), she was born c1791 and died c1844 in Maidstone.
1841 census had them living at Boxley Road, Maidstone.
I cannot find a death or marriage for them.

(I know they had 2 children c1818 called Francis and Ann, I don't want their details as I have quite a bit of info on them.)

Any details would be appreciated, thank you.
