Many thanks for all this info - I am really interested in Lilian McCarthy as this was my Aunt's mother and her father was Arthur Edmund Coleman. I cannot seem to find anything on him at all. I have my Aunt's birth certificate with both her parent's names - her mother listed as being Lilian Victoria Mary Coleman formerly McCarthy but I'm not sure they were married. However I will delve further - thanks for the info once again.
