Thomas Mellon might be a possibility. Have spoken with Uncle an he's planning another trip to Leicestershire records office soon, probably taking me with him for another set of eyes. Says he started looking for Thomas just before the records office closed and may have missed him. |

There is a Thomas in 1841, taking into account age being rounded up / down then, age 21, b Leicestershire, a blacksmith something, at the home of a Walker family, at Bake House, Cossington. |

You're right Ozbird, that's Thomas's brother and my 3xGreat-Grandfather. Uncle and I are stuck with Thomas. He's went to Leicestershire records office years ago and couldn't find anything else for Thomas other than the baptism I posted. |
