Find Ancestors

Looking for Joseph Chisholm family born 1873 Durham he married Sarah E Richardson in 1891 somewhere in Sunderland and had John W R 1891, Joseph 1893, Florence 1901, Elizabeth Ann 1905, Sarah 1913, William 1904?, Charles 1908, Thomas 1903 and 1911. I have the 1911 Census and I am unable to locate them on it, any info on any of these missing persons would be helpful.

thats them on the 1901 census, I suspect they are still in the Sunderland area in 1911

Have had a good search, even just using first names and birth years, but nothing showing so far.

Have also checked the address that they were at in 1901.

I notice when you listed the children you gave:

is there a name missing for 1911? If so, I'd suggest sending for that birth certificate to get the address.

Which ones are definitely still alive and in this country in 1911?

thomas was born on either date not sure, as for who was alive john w r, joseph, florence all got married in sunderland well after 1911

On a search for Chisholm births with mother Richardson:

If she is theirs, they were in Sunderland in 1913, anyhow.

What I don't see is a marriage for Joseph Chisholm and Sarah Richardson. How do you know the date and place of the marriage?

The R in John W R is undoubtedly Richardson, and he may have been born as that surname.
