MANY THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP EVERYONE HAS GIVEN US SO FAR. WE HAVE JUST HEARD FROM AN ELDERLY RELATIVE THAT THE SUBJECT MAY HAVE BEEN IN SCOTLAND FOR SOME TIME AS WE CANNOT FIND THE DEATH OF ROSE ANN DUNNE AND WE KNOW SHE DIED FAIRLY YOUNG, POSSIBLY IN THE 1890S. IS THERE A CENSUS FOR SCOTLAND

If you think that she died in Scotland you need to look on the pay to view site www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk In Scotland female deaths are indexed using both maiden surname and married surname.

Sorry if this is in wrong place, but hope not. We have been searching death records for Rose Ann Williamson, nee Dunn but unfortunately cannot find her. As far as the family is aware she was alive in the first half of 1894 and passed away by the latest 1898. We have looked in every quarter between these dates but cannot find her.
