I have his marriage to Annie Mackie in St Mary's Chapel, Greenock on 4th October 1909 & living at 25 Vennell, Greenock in the 1911 Census.
He is my great uncle.

He was born in Roshin, Dunfanaghy, Co Donegal in 1911.
He had brothers Andrew & Neil, sisters Maggie & Alice. Neil was my grandfather who stayed in Roshin. Maggie also stayed in Ireland. Andrew went to America from Greenock & I have nothing at all on Alice!
I got the marriage & census info from Scotlands people, but cant find anything else.
I just wondered if he has any descendants?

Can you clarify what year he was born please? If he married in 1909 he can't have been born in 1911!
Were there no children in the 1911 census? Annie died just over a year later.

Sorry, Year of birth was 1840 doh! (1911 was his nephew Patrick)

So this isn't him? Born c 1863.

Doh! again, his father was born c1840. Too many Patricks in my tree:) He was born c 1869,
I have the Irish census stuff already but can't find where they went after that. By 1911 there was only Neil left in Roshin & he was married to my granny & had baby Patrick who was born in 1911.
I feel sad that Annie died young as chances are they had no children. There are no living children listed in the 1911 scottish census.

This may be Alice, from familysearch. The age is a few years out though.
