Hi could someone help me please with finding Sarah E J Smith Married to Clement Bailey born1895 Chaddlesworth Berkshire.

Married 1917 Bradfield Berkshire.

Also interested in family of Sarah if Possible.

Her marriage cert will tell you her declared age....plus the name and occupation of her father. It would also give you full name info

I assume you've checked freebmd for possible births?

There is, of course, a possibility that she was not a spinster when she married Bailey........it was during WW1

It looks like they remained in the County

confusing as hungerford is not far from Ramsbury, just along the river Kenett so can discount the westbury birth

I may be totally wrong but have learned over the years not to trust Ancestry trees unless they quote chapter and verse -it would seem that the owner of the tree has not had sight of the marriage cert or they would have entered details like the father of Edith/Sarah and his occcupation
The two births are of twins Cyril and Reginald Bailey (MMS Smith ) born 1931 Mar Q Windsor -some 14 years after the marriage!
I really do think the marriage cert of Sarah and Clement should be obtained before assumung the Ancestry tree to be correct and if necessary the birth cert of one of the twins
