Find Ancestors

I am having fun and games with this fella. Originally he was down as a Harry D Geen, though when I look at the census image directly it was blantantly a W and therefore seems to tally with a Harry Wickland Geen on birth records (Parents Samuel Geen & Martha Hollinshead). I have a few queries regarding him

However since this discovery, he seems to appear both in Cardiff with his parents and in Devon where he seems to be attending school, was it normal for someone to be on two?

Secondly I think I have him married in 1901 (to an Alice Potham), but the records state a its just a Harry Geen, whilst Harry Wickland Geen gets married in 1907 (to Gladys Winifred Carter) but seems to die before 1911. I cannot seem to find a death for Alice Geen for him to marry again, or for a death for Harry himself.

Are there two separate Harry's here, or is just one but confusing? Is there any other to resolve this aside from ordering the certificates?

Can you explain how he is related to you. If he is a close relative then you will know what children he had and who is the next in line.

Harry Green born Cardiff is the son of John and Caroline Green. John was a blacksmith.

The 1891 Harry Geen's at home in 1891 and in Devon do appear to be the same person. He is listed as at school in the Cardiff image.

I wonder if bigamy is a possiblity, but the 1911 Harry in Cardiff is younger born in 1882

I think his parent included him in the census despite not at home but elsewhere.

Hmm strange, looking at Harry's service record.. He stated born around 1879

I think this is the 1911 Harry Geen in 1891 with parents John and Caroline as Astra posted. He appears to have been registered as Henry . But when did Harry Wickland Geen die?

Sorry, I forgot I posted this.

It just looks like a simple case of lying about ages to me, and in fact Harry Wickland Geen isn't my Geen, its another Harry Geen whose birth doesn;t seem to have been recorded anywhere. Would you agree?

I think this could possibly be the Harry Geen listed in Cardiff in 1911 if he is your ancester . i agree that the Harry Geen in 1911 does not appear to be Harry Wickland Geen.
