I have the name William Harris but no birth I know that he married an Ida Crouch and that they had a daughter called Gwendoline Maisie Harris born in 1928 - 2001. Barnet Herts
I am looking for as much info as I can I know from there daughters marriage cert that William Harris was Deceased. I beleve he died about 1945 but not sure and have no idea where he was born and I know nothing about Ida Crouch. If anyone could help I would be very grateful.

I think we can rule out Ida Nettie Crouch as she died 1986 May Q Barnet in that name so apparently unmarried -unless of course Wiliam Harris and Ida Crouch never did marry -where has the info about them come from?

There is a possible death for her -Annie E Harris b1881 died 1932 Barnet, but if it is the right one there seems to be no reason why they should not marry then -unless of course Ida had a previous marriage but I cant find one -it is an unusual name
The best bet is to get the birth cert of Gwendoline and see exactly how the parents describe them selves

Hello everybody that has replyed I am very grateful.
I have been doing a lot more looking into this part of the family and have found that I have the wrong info William Harris is correct but he married a Gertrude Mary Crouch and they married in 1904.
Yes that is the correct death and Gertrude died abt 1953.
