Find Ancestors

I am trying to look up relatives of my dad. All I know is he was born in Wales around 1914 (Aberwystwyth I think) He was captured by the Japenese in WW11 and married Ethel G Whitehead in 1955 in Barnstable. He died about 1964 in Wales. I have no idea of his parents or siblings first names. Thankyou for any help anyone can give me.

Just curious. What information leads you to think that your father may have been born in the Aberwystwyth area? The reason that I ask is that almost exclusively all the Wyndham Lewis births registered about 1914 appear to be in South Wales rather than North Wales.

I have a Wyndham lewis in my tree not sure if he is the same,
He was my father's uncle , i know little about him other than he moved to west wales and married,
