I have been trying to find army records for William James Clarke born 18/03/1891 born Islington London, father William James Clarke, I believe he joined the army about 1908/10 in London, but have not been able to find records, after his training he was posted to India, he came back to England late 20's early30's, but have been unable to find any details, can anyone give me a way forward please, I have tried Glasgow but no luck. thank you Vicky

Image is a bit blurry but looks like his address was 19 Main Street, Old Kent Road. Previously Haswick ? Street, St Lukes.

This one was previously a barman and was discharged for misconduct (kept going AWOL).

Hi: Marie &Leonard I do-not know the regiment William was in, I have checked both of these not the right one the second mother was Julia, I know he went to India, so would not have came home earlier being discharged, thank you both Vicky
