This is what it says. He, was a merchant of Pitt Street. Disease was described as 'decline'. Died July 12.

This is from Family Search site but is not from IGI - it's from Pedigree resource File. whatever that is

I think the Pedigree Resource file is ............... submitted record



probably no documentation, unfortunately.



The death on ancestry definitely says Merchant on the actual image............ which implies someone older than 17!

Oswell Eve was indeed born in USA. He came back to the UK with his married sister to further his education. Just before he was due to return he fell ill in LIverpool and died within a few days. His father was a merchant and former sea captain who was living at the time in Augusta Georgia
