Hi Barry, Yes I am aware of the Kerr tree on Ancestry thank you.

Thanks for your help.

Barry Report 23 May 2011 14:27

According to the KERR family tree on Ancestry there is a sister to William and Thomas - Ann Higginbotham b 1806 and travelled to Australia arriving in Melbourne 14 th May 1858

I'm afraid there is no marriage date on the record for their parents John b 1779 Southwark and Elizabeth b 1780 London

I suppose you are aware of the 7 children to William John and wife Sarah Holiday b 1812 Lambeth Surrey

There is death date in the tree for William John for 1854 Strand Westminster but it looks as though it is incorrect

Update: It is possible John came from Cheshire, not proved yet though.

I would appreciate some help looking to see if any records are to be found for the marriage of John Higginbotham and Elizabeth Ainsworth.

I know the birth year of two sons William John 1810 and Thomas 1812. I have no idea how many other children there may have been or if William and Thomas were the elder or younger of any others.

Both boys were baptised at St Saviours, Southwark 10 Dec 1815.

Both William and Thomas arrived in Melbourne, Australia on the 14th May 1858.

Thank you
