Ann of Green Gables: There is definitely a headstone in the cemetery at St. Symphorien. I took a photograph of it which I will look at later. This particular cemetery was built by the Germans after the Battle of Mons in August 1914 and there are only about 600 graves in total, one section of which consists of German soldiers who died at the same battle. |
