For info, in Croft, Lincolnshire, searching for any Hunter events 1800-1830, pilot.familysearch has baptisms of children of Joseph Hunger and Alice

Ann 1826
Harrison 1822

1851 census in Croft

Joseph Hunter 66 - born Croft c1785, joiner (masterman)
Alice Hunter 67 - born Burgh c1784
Elizabeth Hunter 62 - born Burgh c1789 - visitor, unmarried, pauper


Elizabeth is probably Joseph's sister.

Having more names to search for can help find possible links.


Children Ann and Harrison above are with Joseph and Allis in Croft in 1841.

Sorry...........but I need to space it out

hi i am looking for help ,finding out about joseph and alice hunter

[joseph was born in croft lincolnshire 1785 and died in spilsby lincolnshire1859]

dont know what his wifes maiden name was or if they were married would like to know.

cant find josephs parents any where ,

he and his wife alice lived in horncastle for a time where they had childern
susanna christening 21 aug 1808 horncastle
and mary 1810,
thomas houghton hunter 26 feb 1812[ believe this is thomas with houghton either mispelled or changed from thos houlton hunter]
william 19 apr 1815
and joseph 01 dec 1817

a bit stuck in the change of thomas is name and joseph parents

am i trying to go back to far

joseph sons trades were joiners and builders

is it possible this could be th fathers and grandfathers

dont any help would be greatfull
