Going by the James you found in the census, there a birth for 1884 Letterkenny R.C. father Charles McDaid, mother Bridget McGowan, the same for Susan Gallagher 1886 father Francis Gallagher, mother Jane Burns.

Thanks Maura, just checked your suggestion, 8 records for 40 Euro's is a bit costly with the number of James McDaids they have listed :O

I have been given info that James McDaid married Susan Gallagher 28/07/1907 in Letterkenny, Donegal. I think I found them on 1901 census with James staying at Ballymacool and Susan at Old town Village, Letterkenny.
I have them parents to
James & Elizabeth McDaid (twins 27/02/1915 possably Clydebank)
Catherine McDaid 04/02/1916, Clydebank Scotland
James "Gustie" McDaid 04/03/1920, Clydebank
Annie & Charles McDaid (twins 16/01/1926, Clydebank)
I can search the 1901 Census from census.nationalarchives.ie, but I would like to get dates of births and deaths. I believe James & Susan to be born in Donegal.
Is there any free sites to find this info or can anyone out there please help??
