Find Ancestors

Would someone please be able to look up the 1861 census re Richard Carbis. Born 1797. The 1861 is showing him as being in Penzance. I am interested to see who else might be in the household with him.

Wondering if it the correct one because on the 1851 Richard is aged 53 and is listed as a shoemaker. He was a widower then and could have remarried too.

Just looked on freebmd, there is a marriage of Richard Carbis to Martha Gregory in 1855 so that would all work out.

I have his first wife in 1841 as Ann. I just looked on my saved copy of that, and I think it is Ann, it seems to have a little squiggle on it that could look like Amy. Note my message above re the second marriage so I am sure it is right now.

Yes, Mel, that is the one I found too.
I actually wanted the 1861 list to see if one of the daughters from the first marriage was still at home, or if she had left.
Susan Carbis was married in Australia in 1873, so I was wondering where she was in between those dates.
