Can anyone help me with information (or maybe point me in the right direction to find information) on what happened to my relative Flora Minnie Warren, married name Preston. |

Maddie - that looks right (apart from her age which is slightly out) and ties in with ship's name and arrival date given by Astra. Thanks to you also. |

Maddie - that set me on a rewarding path (didn't know what was out there!), so thanks! Although I don't have an Ancestry sub., I can see that in 1920 she was living in "King's, NY" and in 1930 in "Bergen, New Jersey" (having taken 5 years off her age!!). Hopefully someone can find out if she had any children, or what her/their occupations were. But thanks for such a constructive comment - much appreciated. ... Gillian |

1930 Vernon is an Engineer which could account for them moving around so much. |

On the original of the passenger list that Astra posted it says she's a teacher. Hard to read where she's heading to, possibly Maine. |

Astra - what great information! Thanks so much! Looks like the census people couldn't cope with "Flora" ... we're getting variations on a theme! |

And not that this is much help but this is Vernon with his parents in 1880 |

Margee - I missed your post in the middle of all the census info. Thank you - my 1891 census info in London says she's a "Board School Teacher". I'm loving all this info!!! |

mgnv - wow, now that was a surprise when I came home and checked my pc before heading off to bed. Thought it was all "done and dusted" so this was a nice bonus. Thank you very much. |
