Find Ancestors

hello all
could anyone help please getting confused trying to find my ggrandad john driver he may be in the 1841 census at the cirencester union workhouse age 12 maybe with younger brother charles age 9
john driver born c1827 cirencester glos, i have been looking up wrong family, so how could i find out about johns parents or any other info. john was married to ada maria driver (nee pearson) they had about 9 children and settled in elton bury lancs,
any help please

the john driver at hinton is the one i thought was my ggrandad , but when i done more checking he lived at hinton all his life, my john moved around when came out of army and settled in elton lancs, its very frustrating

He joined the army according to his record when he was 17 and a half years old which would be 1844/5. So at a guess he will only be found with his family in 1841 unless his leave happened to coincide with the census date.

I would say that the one in the workhouse is yours with brother Charles

i have only just found john driver age 12 in 1841 census cirencester union workhouse with brother/ charles aged 9 john went to india then back home lived at 1861 alverstoke barracks and weedon hampshire, then on census 1871/1881 bury elton lancs, died there 1883, he married ada maria driver |9nee pearson ) in nottinghampshire about 1885 ada was born in jamaica she died 1901

Astra because i have been looking up the wrong john driver for a couple of years. i am a bit confused as genes reunited have seemed to of changed things. also i did put messages on my other thread and have had not much response and i am at a dead end with john driver. thank you teresa. :-)

I don't think it's good idea to assume that Charles was John's brother.............unless you can find some evidence to support the theory.

i have been in contact with victor the only john he can find is in hinton evesham glos, which was the wrong john i was looking at, the info flick just sent me is the right john driver with wife ada and family, but still stuck with his parents info
