Please could someone help me with my Hawkins family. I have had alot of help before and Thank you for that...I would like to find details of....

JOHN HAWKINS b1801 Taunton Somerset. His occupation was a TAILOR.

Also a John Wadman b1801c Taunton Somerset..His job was a SAWYER ?

I'd be grateful for any help please.

I have posted before about a connection with Wadman & Wyatt family in Taunton Somerset. However nothing was found.
Tonight I came across a John Wadman marrying Elizabeth LOVE 22/12/1828 in Taunton Somerset (She is a widow) it said. I'm now wondering if Wyatt was Elizabeths maiden name and LOVE her late husbands.

Just a long shot and no further details at present, but can anyone see a marriage between a LOVE to Elizabeth WYATT in Taunton before 1828

You knew that John Wadman was a sawyer, so you'd seen that image?

It pays to look at the neighbours!


And it pays to do things the right way. Once I read your duplicate thread and did the search that found the original one, I took a moment and did the search.

and I had asked on that second thread if John and Elizabeth had had any children after July 1 1837, and if so, if Jennifer had bought the birth certificate(s)



because that would show the mother's MAIDEN name, and thus show if it was Love or Wyatt.

The circle isn't quite squared yet (or however that goes), but the birth certificate of Caroline Wadman 1840 should confirm or deny the theory.
