I was hoping that someone would be kind enough to have a look at the American census for this person for me?

Thomas E BATES born New York, USA 1852, father Thomas, mother Elizabeth Higginbottom.

I have found him on 1860 and 1870 census, he was 17 in 1870 and a lawyer's clerk, living in Brooklyn, New York.

Also if possible his sister Pricilla BATES, born New York, USA 1858 (only found on 1860 census so far).

Any info that you could find for either person from any other census would be a huge help.
