	If you send off for it and there is no will you get back a sheet which basically only tells you the same information that Maddie gave you above.

	There probably wasn't a will. The fact that it says "administration 25/02 to " not "probate 25/02 to " indicates no will.

	Lorraine You probably knoiw this, but looking at the address where he died, that is the address of the now City Hospital. 700 Hucknall Road Nottm.City Hospital Nottingham Poor Law Union Workhouse and Infimary. George

	maybe the wrong office from the nottingham website National Probate Index Coverage: 1858 - 1968 A national index containing summary information about every will or admon proved in England and Wales, including details of the date and place of probate. It is arranged by year, and then alphabetically by surname. Copies of wills proved in the Nottingham Probate Registry between 1858 and 1939 can be consulted at Nottinghamshire Archives. 	hi all some kind person looked for the will of vine william leatherland gave me all the details that were on ancestry [had the info yesterday today its vanished yesterday went to the archives had a look it was proved at nottingham so there should be a record of it nothing there anyone know why and where should i look now vine was born and died in nottingham will proved at nottingham thank you lorraine
