I was disappointed when I sent of for some wills and two of them turned out to be just administration details.

If you send off for it and there is no will you get back a sheet which basically only tells you the same information that Maddie gave you above.

There probably wasn't a will. The fact that it says "administration 25/02 to " not "probate 25/02 to " indicates no will.

You probably knoiw this, but looking at the address where he died, that is the address of the now City Hospital.

700 Hucknall Road Nottm.City Hospital Nottingham Poor Law Union Workhouse and Infimary.

Other wills can be obtained from the York Probate Sub-Registry.

some kind person looked for the will of

gave me all the details that were on ancestry
[had the info yesterday today its vanished
yesterday went to the archives had a look it was proved at nottingham so there should be a record of it
nothing there
anyone know why
and where should i look now
vine was born and died in nottingham
will proved at nottingham
