Find Ancestors

I am finding this person very confusing I have her married to Arnold Utting who was born 1877.
They got married in Edmonton 1897.
But there are so many people who have differrent fathers for her I have Edward and Elizabeth Burkinshaw as her parents,
but my 1st cousin has John and Elizabeth but she dosent remember where she got this info from. I know the best way to make sure is to buy the marriage cert. which I will do but just wondered if you kind people might be able to help.
