Hi

Please could someone do a couple of 1911 look ups please for my grt grandparents - I have found one couple but can't access the records.

William Edward Butt b 1849 and Emily Rowena Butt b 1846 in City of London. In 1911 they lived in Lewisham. Two addresses could be Devonshire Road, Forest Hill or Woodside Green. S. Norwood

Also Mary Walker b 1840 in Staffordshire. In 1901 she lived in Wolfington Road,Lambeth and she died in 1928 in Woodside Green Road, S. Norwood - so maybe she is at one of these addresses in 1911

I would like to know how long they were married for and children born during the marriage - thanks

Marys husband died in 1905 so yes she was a widow and did have 4 children - think its the one - cheers

No Gerald then ! Cant find Gerald in 1901 either - he's disappeared !

apart from 1871 census having difficulty in find gerald

I cant find him in 1881or 1901.

In 1871 he is with john and Mary and siblings in Clapham and in 1991 he is with John and Mary and 3 siblings in The Grove, Camberwell

I cant find marriage record for him either - where are you Gerald!!!

i checked migration but could not find him there or any death records

Just found a possible probate record for a Gerald Walker in 1912. He lived at The Oaks, Worcester Park, Surrey and wife was Hilda Agnes Walker - could you try that one please - thanks

If Gerald went to Australia that might account for his absence in the uk. He may even have married in Australia - Hilda was born in the uk but maybe moved to Australia - something else to look for now.
