I am trying to trace a family that came from Ireland and was wondering on where I can get 1861 census for Ireland as Genes have only got England and wales. Ellen Hogan abt 1835 born in Ireland. :S |

"Those for 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891 were completely destroyed earlier, by order of the government, This means that the earliest surviving comprehensive returns are for 1901 and 1911. " |
