Would some kind person be able to look up a Jane Upton born c1857 in Brighton, Sussex...Her husband if alive should be Nathaniel..

Thanks Dea but thats not her..I know she had a son with Nathaniel in 1879 but the little boy died..I can't seem to find them after 1881 census...

Births Mar 1855
Upton Nathaniel Brighton 2b 182
but no obvious death.
Also a possible birth for a son(followed by a death, so not showing in census)
Births Sep 1879
Upton Nathaniel William Brighton 2b 206

If the son used both names, perhaps the Father did also, and permanently swapped?

Hi Jules,
Your Jane and Nathaniel Upton show in the 1881 cencus as living at 18 Crescent Cottages, Brighton. He was what looks like a journeyman Baker. He is 27 and she is 25.
